Princess Monterey Whale Watching, formerly Monterey Sport Fishing and Whale Cruises, has been in the cruise business for over 30 years. We are the Monterey Bay's leading company in narrated ocean and bay tours, specializing in natural history and biology of marine wildlife, especially whales! Our whale watching trips run year-round and are fully narrated by marine biologists/naturalists, all with 10 or more years experience on the Monterey Bay.
During our 2 1/2 to 3 hour trips, we provide you with a unique opportunity to view the diverse inhabitants of the Monterey Bay. Depending on when you choose to join us, you'll have the chance to observe marine mammals such as the Gray Whale, Humpback Whale, Blue Whale, Fin Whale, Minke Whale, Beaked Whales, Orca (Killer Whale), Bottlenose Dolphin, Northern Right Whale Dolphin, Pacific White-sided Dolphin, Risso's Dolphin, Harbor Porpoise, Dall's Porpoise, California Sea Lion, Pacific Harbor Seal, and Southern Sea Otter. You'll also have the opportunity to view seabirds such as Loons, Grebes, Black-footed Albatross, Shearwaters Pelicans, Cormorants, Phalaropes, Jaegers, Gulls, Terns, and Alcids. And don't forget about sharks, the Ocean Sun Fish, jellyfishes, and even the Leatherback Sea Turtle!

Our vessel, the 75 ft Magnum Force, is the largest and most comfortable boat operating in Monterey, featuring easy step-on boarding, large clean restrooms, a heated cabin with large windows for viewing, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to ensure your comfort no matter what the weather. The Magnum Force meets the latest United States Coast Guard regulations and is operated by licensed, experienced captains.
